Every figure on this site that is a Northline commitment — a rate, a wait time, a cancellation window — is stated plainly and applies as written. Every fact about New York is specific and sourced, so you can check it rather than take our word for it.
Why the detail is on the page
Northline is set out on this site so that you can assess the service directly: drive times by time of day, what the tolls actually are, which terminal door a car can wait at, and what happens when a flight is late.

Where we work
The practical service area is the arc a car can work in a single day: all eight New York-area airports; New York City — Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and Staten Island; Nassau and Suffolk on Long Island; Westchester; Fairfield County in Connecticut; and the northern New Jersey corridor around Newark, Teterboro and Morristown. Trips that start or end outside that arc are quoted as long-distance work.
What we do differently
Three operational choices, each of which costs us money.
Flight numbers, not terminal names
Airport bookings are made against a flight number and the flight is tracked, so the pickup moves with it. Free waiting time is included, measured from the flight’s arrival at the gate.
One price, told before you travel
We never charge surge prices: the price you're quoted is the price you pay, and the position is the same on every page — the full statement is on the rates page. The quote is built from a flat rate for airport transportation and set destinations, or an hourly rate when the car is at your disposal, and what is excluded — tolls, gratuity, parking — is listed rather than buried.
We say when we are not the answer
If you are traveling alone to Midtown with a carry-on, the AirTrain is faster and cheaper, and we will say so.
What we are not claiming
The test we apply to this site. Every sentence about Northline has to be true on the day it is published. Where a figure would be a guess, we would rather leave it out than print a plausible-looking number. It is a slower way to build a website and a much harder one to get caught out by.

Are you a franchise or part of a larger group?
No. Northline Transportation, Inc. is an independent company.
Who owns the company?
Privately held, and intended to stay that way. Ownership and officer details are on file with the New York Department of State and a matter of public record.
